As I sit in front of the TV – where I totally miss watching aimless tv, just plonking myself in front of the tv and in the presence of my family members – occasionally asking if they need anymore help or make some small comment on the tv programme.

I realise- since speaking to Yong Long recently before Notts- that I missed home for its sense of quiet security and serene silence that I run to after getting the day’s noisy work done.

As I sit and watch “Whose line is it anyway” and “chase” – yes, the one with Utt and that other girl – Corrinne May’s song played in the show (Everything in its time) and yes, her magic worked again.

Today was Er jie’s wedding – gosh, she is finally married! Really surreal I must say. It was a lovely lovely day – the bride was calm, cool and collected – and the day went past in such a way that it was a big bang,cackle and pop, but a simple-sacred-meaningful way =) It was lovely!

Woke up early in the morning cos’ I crashed ad burned super early the night before – and ended up jioing my Pa to eat with me! Ate super sinful carrot cake and wan ton mee =) And my fav breakfast drink – Kek Hui Guan! I drove =) Whoots – I swear driving makes me really happy.

Then, the make up artist came and made everyone up. Gosh – its painful getting those brushes under your eye lids as they make their pretty marks. Then went to help Er Jie fit into her dress etc etc. With all that done, snap here snap there take picture take picture. Then everyone left for church. Waited with Er jie for her bridal car. So nice to be part of it!

Mass happened – with beautiful mass readings and yes, that amazing offertory song by Twila Paris – How Beautiful. And Father made sure that the vows were kept in a sacred presence – really nice. =) * go Augustine Jie Fu and Er Jie!*

Took more pictures – with Mel and Sam too! =) Then headed down for reception – chum cha and all the works. The food was really good whee – but did not eat much. Walked around helping with the dress and did some tea work haha – throughout the whole time I think Er Jie got her friend to sing all classical love songs =) with some jazzy twist to it omg – I fell in love with this AMAZING SONG – besame mucho. GO HEAR! Besame Mucho

I like Aiello’s version cos’ his voice is sexy with this song (I know he’s old HAHA) but still.. – I dont really like the Rap part – but hey, just listen lah! After which, Er Jie changed into her lovely tea dress made by Wilson – then take more pictures – drink more tea – and yup – she’s off with Augustine to take more wedding shoots at Fullerton – while I went home to crash. My body is reacting weirdly to the time I think – cos’ I m pretty awake now!

Came home and packed – and have been just spending a nice lull to the day.

And listening to Besame Mucho over an over again.
Mmm. Wish I had a cup of good starbucks java chip in my hand and a nice comfy couch and a good book.
